In its regular jobs round-up, the Defender Media editorial team gathers employment opportunities at companies that made headlines with notable developments during the week. The latest digest features five vacancies at Unwave, 16 at JET, as well as current opportunities at Ukrainian Unmanned Technologies, Ukrspecsystems, DoD Solution and other leaders of Ukraine\u2019s defence technology sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cStepovyi Viter\u201d mid-strike UAV developed by Unwave<\/a> was codified<\/a> this week. It is designed to engage fixed targets, armoured vehicles and troop positions. Unwave currently has five job vacancies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry of Defence also codified<\/a> the Air Baby 350 interceptor drone developed by Strix Air<\/a>. The UAV will soon become available through the ePoints system and be added to the DOT-Chain platform. Strix Air also has 16 vacancies<\/a>, all of which are based on-site in Dnipro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian Unmanned Technologies (UUT) unveiled<\/a> a new version of its Ravlyk unmanned ground vehicle fitted with a launcher for 70 mm guided and unguided rockets. The variant was presented at the MSPO 2026 defence exhibition in Poland. UUT has three vacancies<\/a> for engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian unmanned systems developer Ukrspecsystems<\/a> unveiled<\/a> the RAM-2X strike UAV with an X-shaped wing at the MSPO 2026 exhibition in Poland. The company is also recruiting and is currently seeking<\/a> an HR Director and a Head of Production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian defence technology company JET unveiled<\/a> its new W100 mid-strike drone. The UAV features a terminal guidance system for precise target engagement and is already being used on the battlefield. JET also has 21 job opportunities<\/a>, ranging from driver to UAV instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estonian-Ukrainian defence technology company DoD Solution<\/a> will cooperate<\/a> with Estonia\u2019s DefSecIntel Solutions on counter-UAS technology. Joint trials and demonstrations will be conducted in Estonia, Ukraine and other European countries. The companies plan to deploy the technologies not only on the battlefield but also to protect critical infrastructure, borders and other sites. DoD Solution has eight vacancies<\/a>, all based in Lviv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dutch Tulip Tech<\/a>, which manufactures batteries for unmanned vehicles, is rapidly expanding its operations in Ukraine. The company is currently recruiting a Financial Controller for its Kyiv office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Financial Controller for our Ukraine office, you are the person who keeps our financial administration running smoothly and reliably. You take care of the daily bookkeeping, month-end closing and reporting, and you make sure our records are always correct, complete and on time. You work closely with our finance team in the Netherlands (NL), and together you keep a clear and shared view of the numbers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a challenging role for an experienced, self-reliant finance professional. You will not step into a finished administration: you will help set it up from scratch and shape it as we grow. You start out working in Exact, and you become part of our ERP implementation project to move the finance administration to Odoo Finance. It is a hands-on and trusted role with a lot of ownership. At the same time, we work with clear controls and shared responsibility: signing and payments always follow the four-eyes principle, so you never carry these steps alone and always have a colleague alongside you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
