Fire Point<\/a> has begun military trials of its FP-7 ballistic missile. It has already successfully completed two preliminary testing phases, while the next phase will involve trials under combat conditions and form part of the codification process. Fire Point CEO Iryna Terekh disclosed this at Photonics4Defense 2026: Technology Exchange & Matchmaking, according to<\/a> Militarnyi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe expect it to be ready for operational use very soon. We are talking about weeks, not months,\u201d Terekh<\/a> said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first phase involved ground and laboratory testing of individual systems and subsystems, including the engine and navigation equipment. During the second phase \u2014 flight trials \u2014 the developers tested the missile\u2019s operation and verified whether its actual performance matched the design specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
