He announced the initiative in a statement following his trip to the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fedorov also said the trip was productive in terms of <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/08\/fedorov-investment-fund\/\">setting up a fund<\/a> that will invest in defence developments. \u201cWe managed to secure resources that will allow us to create the largest venture fund in defence tech in Ukraine, in Kyiv,\u201d the former minister said. He previously <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/DefenderMedia\/2914\">reported<\/a> that Palantir CEO Alex Karp would be one of the key investors in the new project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other investors Fedorov met with in the US included Nate Fick, senior managing director at Cerberus Capital Management, and Guy Filippelli, managing partner at Squadra Ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fedorov also reiterated the fund\u2019s three key priorities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sensorisation and robotisation of the frontline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jet-powered interceptors, low-cost missiles and other means of shooting down jet-powered Shaheds and enemy missiles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Low-cost strike missiles, with AI integration planned at a later stage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former minister stressed that the fund will officially launch in the near future. \u201cI will invite both startups and experts to join it and work with the fund,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/09\/dorozvidka-76\/\"><strong>Read more:<\/strong> Dorozvidka #76.
