Martyn Tech presents heavy Adis drone with satellite control

The UAV has been codified and prepares for release on Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence

Ukrainian firm Martyn Tech has unveiled the “Adis” heavy strike quadcopter, which features a satellite-based control system. According to the developer, this integration allows the platform to be operated without the limitations typically imposed by radio horizon constraints.

The declared operational radius of the “Adis” is 20 km with a standard payload capacity of 10 kg. During field trials, the unmanned platform successfully delivered a 12 kg payload over a 20 km distance. It also completed a separate flight carrying a 3 kg payload over a distance of 50 km.

The “Adis” operates at a cruising speed of 65 km/h and can reach a maximum speed of up to 90 km/h. Its declared operational altitude is 400 metres. The drone can remain airborne for approximately one hour on a single battery charge. Overall range and flight endurance remain dependent on the specific battery configuration.

The platform’s modular design enables it to execute a diverse range of operational tasks. Specifically, the unmanned system can be deployed for precision munition drops, remote mine-laying, and logistical resupply to frontline positions.

For surveillance and target acquisition, the drone is equipped with a dual-camera system. According to the manufacturer, the optical suite can detect objects at a range of up to 600 metres during daylight hours and up to 150 metres at night.

Martyn Tech stated that the unmanned system is named in honour of a fallen serviceman from the 72nd Separate Mechanised Brigade (named after the Black Zaporozhians). The soldier, who used the callsign “Adis”, was killed in action in June 2022 within the Donetsk region.

The company also noted that the “Adis” has already successfully completed the state codification process. It is expected to appear soon on the Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence procurement marketplaces.
