The largest version of the Fire Point’s FP-2 drone will be able to carry a 200 kg warhead

The FP-2 midtstrike drone has received new wings and, in its largest version, will be able to carry a 200 kg warhead to a range of 370 km. The co-founder of Fire Point, Denis Shtilerman, spoke about the modernisation of the drone to TSN. The outlet also claims that the company assembles 300 drones and three Flamingo missiles per day.

One of the company’s drones has also been modernised into a mothership that can carry two FPVs on its wings. Earlier, CEO Iryna Terekh told Defender Media that Fire Point had begun using the FP-1 deepstrike platform as a carrier for interceptor drones. There are also versions of the FP-1 equipped with machine guns and anti-aircraft weapons.

In addition to drones, the deep-strike platform can also carry 8 unguided missiles on the old wing, and “significantly more” on the new one. In early May, Shtilerman posted a video in which the drone launches a missile from on board. In the comments, he added that the target is enemy air defence.

As for developing its own ballistic missile, Fire Point hopes to complete it by the start of the heating season. Earlier forecasts suggested that the FP-7 would enter service by the beginning of this year. However, the second test launch of the ballistic missile took place only in March 2026.

The production volumes of ballistic missiles were allegedly mentioned by Timur Mindich on the tapes published by Ukrainska Pravda. The video claimed that FP can produce 7,000 ballistic missiles per year. In addition to volume, on that recording, Mindich allegedly discussed with then-Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov the funding of the company, which is short of money.

In response to the video, Fire Point once again stated that Mindich was not and is not its owner or beneficiary. However, it is known that the sanctioned businessman tried to buy 50% of the company from spring 2024 to August 2025, and his final offer reached one billion dollars.
