At the end of May, the Ukrainian capital will host another Foreign Investment Congress, bringing together key stakeholders to attract international and private capital for Ukraine’s recovery.

The event will welcome delegations from more than 35 countries, representatives of international financial institutions, investors, international and Ukrainian businesses — including veteran-led companies — as well as local communities, diplomats, and government officials.

The program features more than 15 panel discussions across key sectors, alongside investment project presentations from over 25 local communities and UkraineInvest.

Special attention will be dedicated to the defence sector and dual-use goods. The congress will explore topics including investment potential, financing for defence tech and dual-use goods, future technologies, and more.

Among the highlights are discussions on the key challenges and opportunities facing Ukraine’s defence industry — from the concept of “made in Ukraine, tested in combat” as a new reality for exporting defence products and dual-use technologies, to assessing the investment potential of the miltech, defence tech, and security ecosystem. Participants will discuss financing opportunities ranging from international institutions to private capital, as well as future technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and space.

A separate focus will be placed on the path “from battlefield to global market” — the development of Ukrainian defence startups and veteran entrepreneurship, the formation of global alliances, and the political risks surrounding arms exports. The agenda will also address the wartime economy: how to secure resources for scaling production and transform battlefield experience into export contracts, as well as legal aspects — how to operate internationally during wartime while avoiding grey areas.

The event is organized by Foreign Business Hub, EUCONLAW Group, and UkraineInvest. Defender Media is a media partner of the event. Our readers can use the promo code 6Y1536 to receive a discount.
