Quantum Systems to launch two joint ventures with Ukrainian companies WIY and Tencore
Quantum WIY Industries to scale air defence technologies, Quantum Tencore Industries to produce UGVs

German Quantum Systems has announced the creation of two joint ventures with Ukrainian companies. The initiatives will be launched under the Build with Ukraine programme. One of the ventures will specialise in producing interceptor drones, while the other will focus on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).
The first venture will be named Quantum WIY Industries, established jointly with Ukrainian company WIY Drones. Quantum Systems had previously invested in this manufacturer and paid for a contract covering 15,000 WIY STRILA interceptor drones for the National Guard of Ukraine.
WIY Drones specialises in the development and manufacture of interceptor drones, reconnaissance and strike UAVs, as well as ground control stations and related systems. The joint venture will focus on developing and scaling air defence capabilities, particularly in interceptor drones and associated technologies.
The second venture, Quantum Tencore Industries, is being launched together with Tencore. The Ukrainian company produces the TerMIT UGV and will work with its partner to scale the production of unmanned ground systems. Tencore previously announced the creation of a joint venture with Munich-based startup FERNRIDE, which Quantum Systems has acquired.
For Quantum Systems, these are its second and third joint ventures with Ukrainian manufacturers. Together with Frontline Robotics, the company previously launched Quantum Frontline Industries. That joint venture, based in Germany, produces Linza drones; the first batch of its products was delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April.
