Roboneers‘ remote weapon stations Saber is now compatible with new types of weapons manufactured in Ukraine. Saber MK 19 has been integrated with the AGL-53 automatic grenade launcher, and Saber M2 with the MG-50 QCB machine gun, the company told Defender Media.

The company says that compatibility with Ukrainian weapons underscores its strategy of supporting domestic manufacturers and technological autonomy. The new compatibility increases the modules’ combat effectiveness and ensures fast, reliable deployment across various platforms.

In addition to the AGL-53 and MG-50 QCB, the combat module already supports the following weapons:

  • PKT/M240 (7.62 mm calibre machine guns)
  • M2 Browning/Canik (12.7 mm calibre machine guns)
  • MK19 (40 mm calibre grenade launcher)

Roboneers is primarily known for its UGVs, but considers Saber to be one of its flagship products. The company also manufactures reconnaissance drones, guidance modules, software, and control units for surface drones. The latter has attracted the interest of SUBmerge Baltic, a Latvian manufacturer of aquatic drones. The two companies are already working on joint projects in the maritime sector.
