Ukrainian heavy bomber manufacturer Pegasus Arms has signed a memorandum with Germany’s Rohde & Schwarz, a developer of electronic support and aerial reconnaissance systems. Under the agreement, Rohde & Schwarz solutions will be integrated into the Ukrainian company’s drones.

Pegasus Arms says the partnership will significantly expand the functional capabilities of its UAVs. The aircraft will receive electronic support systems, enabling it to detect the enemy before an attack begins.

Pegasus Arms manufactures the Pegasus Arms 25 heavy bomber. More than 1,500 of these UAVs are operating at the front, and in 2025, they destroyed equipment worth $4 billion. “With Rohde & Schwarz systems, it will be able not only to carry a payload, but will also gain capabilities that will come as an unpleasant surprise to the enemy,” says Pegasus Arms director Illia Samoshkin.

The Pegasus Arms 25 can currently carry up to 14 kg of payload and is used for munitions dropping, mining, or logistics. The UAV reaches speeds of up to 110 km/h, can remain airborne for up to 45 minutes, and maintains communications at ranges of up to 30 km.
