Yaroslav Azhnyuk’s TFL and Odd Systems are expanding. Who are they hiring for the 200 open positions?
The companies say the expansion is driven by the scaling of production and the development of new products

Ukrainian deftech startups The Fourth Law and Odd Systems currently have around 100 open positions each. The company’s co-founder, Yaroslav Azhnyuk, announced this on Facebook. The teams are hiring for R&D, operations, and manufacturing roles.
In response to an inquiry from Defender Media, the companies said the expansion is driven by increased production and the development of new products. However, further details have not yet been disclosed.
According to Azhnyuk, new hires will work on:
- Autonomous systems for interceptors and other products;
- Simulation tools for testing and training these systems;
- Thermal imaging and daylight cameras;
- A semiconductor fabrication facility for sensor manufacturing.
A full list of open positions is available on The Fourth Law’s and Odd Systems’ pages on DOU. Azhnyuk notes that more than five people are being hired for some roles. Benefits include mobilisation leave, a competitive salary, and “very reasonable management.”
The Fourth Law (TFL) develops artificial intelligence systems for drones, including the TFL autonomy module, which is already being supplied to Ukraine’s Armed Forces. The AI tracks the target’s outline and guides the drone toward its centre. In addition to the module, the company has developed its own drone, the “Lupynis-10-TFL-1” — a 10-inch FPV drone with a payload capacity of up to 4 kg.
Another Azhnyuk-founded startup, Odd Systems, produces thermal-imaging cameras for FPV drones and its own UAVs. In particular, Odd Systems’ “Kurbas” camera is used in Sting interceptor drones that shoot down Shahed UAVs. The startup is also working on a low-cost AI-based interceptor in cooperation with the Danish defence group Terma Group.
