Roboneers’ Saber remote weapon station gets an AI assistant
The immediate plans are to scale the assistant to other company products

Ukrainian manufacturer of UGVs and UAVs, Roboneers, has unveiled an AI assistant for its remote weapon stations, Saber MK19(M) and Saber M2. The assistant is integrated into NeoLens, the world’s first AI assistant for diagnosing and repairing military equipment, which is already being used by the Ukrainian military.
The Saber assistant is separate from other products available in the application. Military personnel who have access to it via a link from Roboneers will not see other tools.
With the help of AI, you can search for information about the structure and settings of Shably, step-by-step repair instructions, and recommendations for safe use. AI responses are based on the manufacturer’s official technical documentation and video instructions. The assistant is currently available via a web interface.

According to Roboneers, their Saber has undergone several modifications during its existence: there are variations with Browning M2, PKT, M240 machine guns and Mk 19 grenade launchers. It is integrated into the company’s SabLynx/SabLynx PRO UGVs. Roboneers and NeoLens’ immediate plans are to scale the AI assistant to other company products.
NeoLens – a startup founded at Stanford University in 2025. The founders are Ostap Korkuna, an American of Ukrainian descent, and James Leo, an American of Taiwanese descent. Their application is AI-based and provides military personnel with instructions for repairing and diagnosing Humvee, MaxxPro, and M113 armoured personnel carriers.
