Ukrainian company Roboneers, which manufactures UGVs, RWS and UAVs, has expanded its production lines and team. The process took all of 2025 and part of 2024, said the manufacturer’s co-founder, Taras Rokoshevsky. In addition, the company has developed its own KTYR guidance module and control unit for surface drones.

Defender Media spoke with the entrepreneur about what the team is currently working on and how Roboneers localises its products.

Roboneers UGV lineup

In 2025, after reorganisation and scaling, the team grew threefold. Currently, Roboneers manufactures its usual product line and makes modifications at the request of the military. For specific units, manufacturers adapt communication channels, adjust power configurations, refine chassis designs, integrate additional sensors, and more.

The list of ground-based robotic systems includes:

  • Lynx, which can withstand loads of up to 150 kg;
  • Lynx PRO – the flagship model with a load capacity of 300 kg;
  • SabLynx/SabLynx PRO with the Saber combat module.

According to Rokoshevsky, they are used by the territorial defence forces, airborne assault troops, marines, mechanised and assault brigades. In particular, the company’s UGVs were used in the liberation of the villages of Hruzke and Vesele near Dobropillia. One of the latest examples was the evacuation in the Kostyantynivka area, which involved the 112th Territorial Defence Forces Brigade. At that time, a wounded soldier was able to escape from captivity, taking an occupier with him. A Lynx PRO loaded with stretchers, food and medicine was sent to help him.

The majority of sales come from UGVs, says the company’s co-founder. They are most often ordered for logistics tasks. Prices for platforms range from 1 to 1.8 million UAH on the Brave1 Market.

Roboneers focuses on localisation in its products – most components are manufactured in Ukraine. Ukrainian manufacturers are involved to support the local market, but partnerships are maintained in Europe and Asia. Complex components and electronics remain imported.

What else is the company working on

In addition to the UGVs, the company’s flagship product is the remotely controlled Saber combat module. It can be mounted on UGVs and other vehicles and has undergone several modifications over its existence. It is available with Browning M2, PKT, M240, and Mk 19 machine guns and grenade launchers.

Roboneers also manufactures Wardog TRN and Wardog Scout reconnaissance drones. They conduct reconnaissance in difficult terrain and under enemy electronic warfare. They can operate for up to 45 minutes in the air at a distance of up to 10 km with communication. The drone’s speed is 12-15 m/s.

In addition, the company manufactures a control unit for surface drones, a KTYR guidance module, and offers its own situation awareness and training software. Details about these developments are not disclosed, but Defender Media was told that KTYR supports digital and analogue cameras, is resistant to electronic warfare after capturing a target, and can be configured to the user’s needs.

Roboneers also helps manufacture interceptor drones, but does not disclose any details. Rokoshevsky limits himself to saying, “We are already there.”
