Ukrainian Armor and DPA signed a contract for the purchase of Protector UGV
The platform can be equipped with electronic warfare and electronic countermeasures systems, a catapult for launching UAVs, or remote modules

Ukrainian Armor has signed a contract with the Defense Procurement Agency to supply the Protector UGV to the army. This was reported by Militarnyi with reference to the company’s CEO Vladislav Belbas. The details of the contract have not been disclosed.
Belbas said that the complexes are already available for order through the DOT-Chain system. The UGV can also be purchased on the Brave1 Market marketplace, where it costs UAH 3.9 million (payment can be made with E-points).
The Protector is based on a diesel off-road vehicle and can reach speed of up to 40 km/h, with a range of 200 km. The UGV has a load capacity of over 700 kg and, according to the company, can evacuate up to three lying people. The Ministry of Defense codified it in June 2025, and by August it was already in serial production.
The platform can also be equipped with electronic warfare and electronic countermeasures systems, a catapult for launching UAVs, or remote modules. For example, in November, the company unveiled the Protector with the Tavria-12.7 combat module. It is equipped with a 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine gun and a digital weapon control system.
Previously, Defender Media reported that the Protector is controlled from a ground station: the screen displays a virtual steering wheel, brakes, accelerator and gearbox, allowing it to be driven just like a regular car. But if necessary, the operator can sit inside and control the drone like a regular vehicle using a joystick.
