Kyiv Forum to address protection of critical infrastructure and industrial facilities
Event participants will seek practical solutions to protect critical facilities and minimise the impact of hostile attacks

In early March, Kyiv will host a forum and exhibition focused on protecting infrastructure and industrial facilities. The event will serve as a platform for constructive dialogue, with leading Ukrainian manufacturers showcasing their solutions in a dedicated exhibition area. Defender Media is the official media partner of the event.
According to the organisers, since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, every enterprise in Ukraine has effectively become a target. Russian forces have been striking not only military or energy facilities, but also pharmaceutical companies, warehouses, distribution centres, printing houses, restaurants, and postal offices, many of which have suffered significant damage.
Over the past four years, Ukrainians have learned how to protect themselves and continue operating under any conditions, developing a broad range of effective solutions. The forum will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and turn individual solutions into a comprehensive protection programme for Ukrainian enterprises.
The forum will feature panel discussions on the following topics:
- Integrated facility protection
- Protection of technological processes and personnel
- Countering drones
- Resilience and recovery
A key part of the forum will focus on electronic protection and countering drone attacks. The discussions will centre on threat detection and identification systems, electronic warfare solutions, and engineering protection. Participants will examine which counter-drone measures are permitted or potentially allowable for civilian facilities, where the line of responsibility lies between enterprises and the military, which acoustic, radio-frequency, and optical approaches are most effective for detecting drones, and how to coordinate with the military and air defence forces.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore ready-made solutions for all levels of protection from leading manufacturers and discuss how these could be applied specifically at their own enterprises in the forum’s exhibition area.
The organisers invite leaders from public, municipal, and private enterprises across all sectors of the economy, including energy, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and food processing, IT and telecommunications, security, retail, logistics, transport, light industry, and more.
