Edtech company Mate Academy and defence tech manufacturer Dwarf Engineering have launched a training module on defence tech recruiting. HR professionals who want to work in defence will learn about the hiring process, popular roles in vacancies, channels for finding candidates, and more.

The programme will cover the following topics:

  • How deftech differs from traditional IT
  • How the selection and hiring process works
  • Which technical and non-technical roles are most common
  • Where and how to search for candidates
  • How to work with veterans correctly and ethically

The author of the programme is Oleksandra Paramonova, HR Director at Dwarf Engineering. The announcement states that she has over 9 years of experience in recruitment and is responsible for building HR processes. The module is based on her experience and case studies. Access to it is free until 13 March upon prior registration.

Dwarf Engineering currently has two products. Its Narsil guidance system can capture a target and move the drone towards it without operator intervention. The other product is KordycepsOS. It is a software and hardware platform for deploying and updating software from multiple manufacturers across all types of unmanned systems. With this development, Dwarf won the defence startup competition at IT Arena 2025.
