Trypillian establishes an advisory board chaired by British Field Marshal Lord David Richards
The advisory board will include representatives from the UK, Germany, the United States, and Ukraine

British-Ukrainian defence tech startup Trypillian has established an advisory board, to be chaired by Field Marshal Lord David Richards, former Chief of the Defence Staff of the UK Armed Forces. Defender Media spoke with company representatives about why the advisory board was created and who else will join it.
Trypillian states that the advisory board is designed to support the company’s long-term strategic development and facilitate more informed decision-making. “The goal is to have an independent expert perspective on the market and long-term priorities, bring in deep experience across key areas, stimulate product innovation, and help address complex challenges,” the company said. Trypillian believes that the involvement of authoritative experts on the advisory board strengthens trust among customers, partners, and investors, while also opening up new opportunities for partnerships and growth.
The advisory board will include representatives from the UK, Germany, the United States, and Ukraine. The company уточнює that these will include military professionals, members of the intelligence and academic communities, as well as business representatives. They will work under the leadership of Lord Richards, whom Trypillian describes as one of the most authoritative military leaders of his generation.
As chair of Trypillian’s advisory board, Lord Richards will share his operational and strategic experience, supporting the company’s development and helping shape its strategic vision.
Lord Richards has over 40 years of service experience across the Far East, Germany, Northern Ireland, Arctic Norway, and East Timor. He is best known for his role in resolving the conflict in Sierra Leone, where decisions he made during the civil war contributed to ending years of fighting. He later commanded the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps and became the first British general since World War II to command US troops in combat, leading NATO’s ISAF mission in Afghanistan during a period of escalation.
“Ukraine’s experience has clearly demonstrated how modern warfare is evolving and how decisive the ability to adapt quickly has become,” Lord Richards said. “Our core objective is clear: to help allied nations play a decisive role in deterring war.”
