Brave1 and Palantir launch Dataroom, a platform for testing and training AI using frontline data
Brave1 Dataroom already includes curated visual and thermal datasets of aerial targets, including Shahed drones

The state defence tech cluster Brave1 and the US company Palantir have launched Brave1 Dataroom, a secure environment for using battlefield data to test and train artificial intelligence models for military applications. At the initial stage, the initiative will focus on developing autonomous solutions to detect and intercept enemy drones.
In addition to Brave1 and Palantir, the project is being implemented with the participation of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Research Institute of Military Intelligence.
Brave1 Dataroom is built on Palantir’s software solutions and already contains curated visual and thermal datasets of aerial targets, including Shahed drones. The list of available data is expected to expand over time. Ukrainian defence tech developers will be able to access the environment after completing a security compliance procedure. In the future, the initiative may also serve as a platform for sharing algorithms tested in real combat conditions with Ukraine’s allies.
According to Ukraine’s Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov, the partnership with Palantir within Brave1 Dataroom should accelerate the emergence of new AI solutions capable of shifting the balance on the battlefield. The initiative’s initial focus is on autonomous detection and interception of aerial threats, a critically important area for Ukraine’s defence.
Palantir is a leading US technology company specialising in large-scale data analytics and AI solutions for governments and defence organisations worldwide.
Louis Mosley, Executive Vice President of Palantir for the United Kingdom and Europe, noted that the initiative gives Ukrainian defence developers access to some of the world’s most advanced military software. According to him, this will make it possible to create a new generation of algorithm-driven weapons and, in the future, to share Ukraine’s unique combat experience with partners around the world.
Brave1 Dataroom is intended to enable secure data exchange within Ukraine’s defence ecosystem and accelerate the development of innovative AI-based products. Ukrainian defence companies can apply for access to the platform via the provided link.
