According to the General Staff, drones currently account for around 60% of all strikes against Russian targets. This was emphasised by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, during a comprehensive meeting on the use of unmanned systems.

In November, unmanned aerial systems carried out more than 304,000 missions, while ground robotic systems completed nearly 2,000. In total, Ukrainian drones struck around 81,500 targets. Syrskyi noted that this figure has been steadily increasing over the past six months.

The General Staff reports that after a period of relative parity, Ukraine is once again ahead of Russia in the use of FPV drones. However, according to intelligence, Russia is currently ramping up production and aims to manufacture up to 500,000 FPV drones per month.

The General Staff stresses that Ukraine’s response must include both countering enemy drones and striking the infrastructure of their units. In parallel, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are expanding unmanned systems units within brigades and increasing the training of operators.
