The final week to apply for these programmes — and for some, the very last day!

Three key accelerator programmes for Ukrainian defence startups are now open for applications. October 10 — last day to apply for the fifth Darkstar Bootcamp. October 14 — deadline for pre-registration for the third Defence Builder batch. October 15 — final day to apply for the third MITS Accelerator.
Defender Media has compiled the essentials to know before applying.
Darkstar Bootcamp #5
The Estonian fund Darkstar is holding its fifth bootcamp in Ukraine. This time, 15 teams will be selected to spend a week working with leading European founders, Ukrainian military experts, and world-class mentors.
The strongest candidates are startups developing interceptor drones, AI-powered defence solutions, mesh networks, and electronic warfare systems.
Deadline: 10 October 2025

The programme lasts four months, and the three best teams will each receive $30,000. This round is expected to bring strategic updates — Line Rindvig was recently appointed as the new CEO.

MITS Accelerator #3
On 2 October, the Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital announced recruitment for the third MITS Accelerator batch. Participants will receive $200,000 each — half in cash, half in services.
The six-month programme focuses on counter-drone technologies, software, lasers, missiles, localised critical components, and other defence innovations. Reportedly, several spots are already reserved for startups that received soft commitments from MITS Capital during IT Arena 2025.
Deadline: 15 October 2025
