Ukrainian Realgold manufactures up to 10,000 electric motors for FPV drones monthly
The products are suitable for use on classic FPV drones and on interceptors

At the Defence Tech Valley 2025 summit, the company Realgold presented domestically produced motors for FPV drones. Militarny reports that the developers claim to produce 10,000 electric motors per month.
Realgold offers three types of motors — 2807, 3110 and 3115 for drones on 7, 8 and 10-inch frames, respectively. They are suitable for both classic FPV drones and interceptor drones and can be modified to suit customer needs.
According to a Realgold representative, in the event of relevant orders, production can be increased to 100,000 units per month “without significant investment”. At the same time, the company faces difficulties competing with Chinese manufacturers due to tax conditions: imported components for drones are imported without customs duties and VAT, while the Ukrainian manufacturer pays these costs, which increases the cost price.
Although the motors are considered Ukrainian, some finished parts for the motors are ordered from China. The company has already purchased equipment to manufacture them on its own by the end of the year. It is impossible to completely abandon imported raw materials, but the level of localisation can reach 70%.
As a reminder, a special legal regime, Defence City, is in effect for defence industry manufacturers in Ukraine, whose residents receive tax benefits.
