Dwarf Engineering launches a platform for B2B integrations between autonomy software developers and defence manufacturers

Ukrainian defence tech project Dwarf Engineering has announced the public launch of an operational platform designed to integrate developers of autonomous control systems with defence manufacturers. The company says this is the first B2B integration platform for the defence sector in Ukraine. The initiative aims to accelerate the deployment of autonomous solutions at the frontline and simplify collaboration between hardware producers and software development teams.

According to the founders, the platform removes the need to build separate infrastructure for every product solution. Currently, such parallel deployment leads to duplicated effort and additional costs. The launch will allow developers to focus on innovation and production rather than infrastructure.

Dwarf Engineering says the platform enables fast and stable integration of software across a wide range of robotic systems — from aerial drones to ground robotics. It provides tools for support, scaling, security, and software updates, including remote upgrades.

Dwarf Engineering CTO Oleksandr Bakhmach compares the solution to mobile device update mechanics: the platform enables software updates to be pushed to the cloud and allows remote configuration of both operating systems and applications. Beyond updates, it also supports diagnostics and bug fixes without physically removing modules from hardware — connecting the module to the internet is enough.

CEO Vladyslav Piotrovskyi describes the platform as a business solution for manufacturers, giving them access to R&D as a “franchise” while continuously improving their products. He adds that two Ukrainian defence tech companies are already using the platform, and now Dwarf Engineering is looking for new partners in Ukraine and abroad.
