The company “General Chereshnya” became the first drone manufacturer to fulfil an order on the DOT-Chain Defence platform. Co-founder Yaroslav Hryshyn reported this on his Facebook page. According to him, only eight days elapsed from the moment of the order to the shipment.

The full chronology of the historic order was as follows:

  • 25 July – “General Chereshnya” joined the DOT-Chain Defence system;
  • 4 August – one of the brigades placed the first order on the marketplace;
  • 12 August – the company fully fulfilled the order and shipped the products to the military unit.

Currently, “General Chereshnya” is fulfilling six more orders from the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the DOT-Chain Defence system, the company reports. “DOT-Chain Defence is a much-needed step in military procurement, and we are proud to be the first to successfully implement it in practice,” says Hryshyn.

Defender Media first reported on the DOT-Chain Defence platform in April 2025. The marketplace went live in July. As of early August, the Defence Procurement Agency had integrated 11 drone manufacturers into the marketplace.
