Dzerkalo Tyzhnia released footage of tests of the Ukrainian long-range cruise missile Flamingo, a photo of which had been published earlier by photographer Yefrem Lukatsky. According to the report, in addition to the tests, the missile has already been used in combat launches against targets in Russia.

The trials took place several months ago, and Flamingo has since entered serial production. Manufacturing is reportedly based in Ukraine, in secured facilities in the Carpathian region.

During development, the focus was placed on three key features of the domestic cruise missile: extended range, powerful warhead, and the ability to be rapidly deployed and launched.

The missile carries a 1,150-kilogram warhead and has a flight range of more than 3,000 kilometers. In addition, it is said to be resistant to Russian electronic warfare.

The company, which also produces one of the most widely used drones of the “FP” series, is now working on scaling up production and expanding capacity.
