Ukrainian defence tech startup Norda Dynamics, which specialises in developing autonomous control systems for drones in challenging conditions, has announced it has raised $150,000 from Angel One Fund. The funding was provided under a syndicated agreement and will be used to scale the company’s key products.

Managing Partner of Angel One Fund Ivan Petrenko says NORDA Dynamics’ solutions have already proven their effectiveness in real-world combat conditions. “We believe in the team and see great potential in further scaling of their products,” he adds.

“At Norda Dynamics, we develop technologies that open up new possibilities in the field of aerial systems. Our autonomous solutions enable drones to carry out complex missions quickly, precisely, and safely for the operator,” said the company’s CEO, Nazar Bihun. He believes the investment from Angel One will provide an opportunity to accelerate the deployment of Norda’s technologies on the frontline and enhance their combat effectiveness in real time.

The startup’s flagship product, Underdog, is a final-stage targeting system that enables precision strikes even when traditional guidance methods are unavailable due to signal interference or range limitations. The system employs computer vision and artificial intelligence: once the operator selects a target on screen, the drone autonomously completes the final leg of the mission and executes the strike.

Another core technology developed by Norda Dynamics is StableLink, a visual attitude stabilisation system that ensures drone stability in altitude, azimuth, and coordinates. This solution is especially critical for repeater drones and bombers that operate in fast-changing battlefield environments and require maximum targeting accuracy.

The Norda Dynamics team brings together engineers with expertise in robotics, AI, and military technology. They work in daily contact with drone operators, technicians, and unmanned aviation units. In 2024, the company was also among the winners of the IT Arena Startup Competition receiving a $5,000 grant and securing 10,000 licence sales.

Norda Dynamics became the eighth investment of Angel One Fund in 2024, following support for seven other defence and dual-use technology startups.
