The total amount of investment raised by the startup Buntar Aerospace has now reached just under $4 million, according to co-founder Bohdan Sas in an interview with Defender. He explained that several investors who had previously committed funds have recently joined the project’s capital.

According to Bohdan, the company also completed three small M&A deals in 2024. “Essentially, we integrated three teams into Buntar Aerospace along with their products,” he said.

One of these teams specialized in drone communication and autopilot systems, while another focused on strike drones. “The third team was developing a small reconnaissance drone, which eventually evolved into Skyhopper—currently our most widely produced product,” Bohdan shared.

In 2025, Buntar Aerospace aims to reach break-even and secure a new investment round of $3-5 million, which will be directed toward scaling operations.

The startup’s founders have not yet decided on the exact investment model. “It may not be traditional venture capital but rather a strategic partnership. We will evaluate both the financial aspect and the potential contributions of the partner,” said Bohdan Sas.
