The Techosystem Association has published a catalogue of promising Ukrainian startups, 100 Rising Ukrainian Startups. The catalogue includes 9 projects that develop defence products or dual-use technologies.

Which defence start-ups were included in the catalogue:
- Aspichi is a startup that develops virtual reality solutions, including VR products for reconnaissance, demining, and shooting simulators. The company was founded in 2021. The CEO is Viktor Samoilenko.
- Drill is a mobile app for training in the use of weapons and tactical medicine. It has 150,000 users around the world, including 30,000 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The app has been downloaded 120,000 times in 15 months. The company was founded in 2022. The CEO is Igor Spivakov.
- Himera – a startup that produces communication systems for the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine. More than 5,000 of the company’s radios are already used by the Defence Forces. The company was founded in 2022. The co-founder is Misha Rudominsky.
- LifesaverSIM is a game simulator for developing tactical medicine and first aid skills. It has more than 80,000 users in Ukraine. It was founded in 2023. CEO – Yuriy Dyachyshyn.
- Mantis Analytics is an AI platform for real-time situational awareness and risk management. Among its clients is the UK Ministry of Defence. The company was founded in 2023. CEO – Maxym Tereshchenko.
- Norda Dynamics is a startup that develops autonomous piloting and guidance systems for drones. The company has already sold more than 10,000 licences for its software. The company was founded in 2024. CEO – Nazar Bigun.
- Osavul is a startup that provides media analytics using artificial intelligence, helping to analyse social media posts and identify organised campaigns. The product is used by the National Security and Defence Council and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. Osavul raised $1 million in investment in 2023 and another $3 million in September 2024. The company was founded in 2022. CEO is Dmitry Pleshakov.
- Promin Aerospace is an aerospace start-up that develops rocket technology for national security and commercial needs. The first rocket is scheduled to be tested in 2026. The company has pre-orders for $6.5M. The company was founded in 2021. CEO is Misha Rudominsky.
- UADamage is an AI-based GIS platform for automatic remote sensing using satellites and drones. The company was founded in 2022. CEO – Vitaliy Lopushansky.
The TOP 100 Rising Ukrainian Startups catalogue was created by 50 leading experts from the Ukrainian tech ecosystem. The jury chose among projects that were founded less than 10 years ago, have at least 30% of Ukrainian employees, and are taxpayers in Ukraine.
Techosystem is an association of players in the Ukrainian tech ecosystem aimed at creating favourable conditions for doing business, supporting startups, and strengthening cooperation between business and the state.
