MITS Capital and Victory Drones open enrolment for Defence Tech Bootcamp

The Defence Startup Bootcamp with a $100K grant fund has been launched by MITS Capital and Victory Drones.

What is the programme?

The Defence Tech Bootcamp is a three-week programme for 20 teams that will work on solving key challenges in the field of defence technology. Participants will gain practical knowledge on business scaling, production optimisation, pitching, partner communications and investment attraction.

The programme will be followed by a $100K grant from MITS Capital. Each team will receive up to $5k for project development.

The bootcamp also provides an opportunity to attract investors and establish partnerships with representatives of the defence industry. The event was organised by the American University of Kyiv and the Ukrainian American Coordinating Council.

Who can participate?

Teams with a Proof of Concept (PoC) in the following areas are invited to participate:

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones);
  • Ground and underwater drones;
  • Electronic warfare technologies;
  • Communication, optical and acoustic reconnaissance equipment;
  • Mine action and demining;
  • Software and artificial intelligence;
  • Ammunition development.

How to apply?

Applications are accepted until 24 November. The programme will start in early December.
