Kara Dag Technologies, a Ukrainian company specialising in anti-drone and electronic warfare systems, has attracted Green Flag Ventures (GFV) as a major investor. This is reported on the fund’s website.

‘With the global market for airborne countermeasures set to reach $10.57 billion by 2030, Kara Dag is well-positioned to meet both current and future demand,’ the statement said.

The amount of investment and valuation of the startup were not disclosed. It is known that the funding will help the company meet the growing demand in the international market.

“Teaming up with Green Flag Ventures marks a key moment for Kara Dag. It allows us to meet demand, scale our operations, improve our technology and expand our reach in both the military and civilian sectors around the world,” said Kara Dag founder and CEO Erik Kadyrov.

In addition to the financing, GFV plans to use its network to attract additional investment, connect the startup with key commercial and defence partners, and provide ongoing access to expert support to accelerate product development and expand its market presence.
